It’s been a minute since I’ve put thoughts down, but there’s something about being in Gibraltar that makes you want to hit pause and reflect. This place truly is one of my favorites – a real happy place. And right now, the biggest lesson I’m learning (or re-learning) is the importance of putting myself first.
This holiday is all about one thing: chilling.
My plan is basic:
* Relax in the apartment.
* Utilise the gym and pool I’ve joined for the week.
* Enjoy gym sessions, or simply sit by the pool.
* Come back, and relax some more.
The last few weeks have been a tough ride, and this break is exactly what I need. I’m grateful to say I’ve had two really good days, both mentally and physically, and I’m genuinely happy today – a feeling I haven’t been able to confidently claim for a while.
I’ve even updated my plan with new goals, ready to set those milestones. Tomorrow is a gym rest day, which means more pool time, a gentle stretch and mobility workout, and then just embracing the art of doing nothing.
